Description[]

"This recently discovered isotope of titanium is the heaviest known form of the element. Its properties make it extremely valuable in both electronics and aeronautics."

Titanium-70 (referred usually as Titanium) an early Strategic Resources, discoverable after researching N-Way Fusion Plants. As well as providing production access to the eponymous material, it increases the production of the colony it is on. (+1 Industry per Population on planet)

Gameplay[]

It is crucial for the early production of missile technology, as Titanium is needed to produce weapon modules for your ships, primarily missiles. Early access to Titanium can provide a decided advantage, especially because of missiles' strength against non-defended targets.

It is also required for Cruiser sized hulls production.

As with all other strategic resources, each Titanium resource between one and three reduces the production required for Titanium modules by 10% per resource. Titanium abundance (4 resources or more) reduces the production required for Titanium modules by 30%Industry.
