HE Batteries is a technology on the Galactic Warfare technology tree. With the Disharmony update it moved from the 3rd tier down to the 1st one and switched its purpose from powering invasion projectiles to lasers.

- Combined with the Phase Accuracy Modifiers described in Combat (Disharmony), the final accuracy values should end up as:
- LR spec: 110% at long, 27,5% at medium and 27,5% at melee range
- MR spec: 28,05% at long, 85% at medium and 28,05% at melee range
- Melee spec: 11% at long, 11% at medium and 110% at melee range
making the medium spec at medium range truly the most efficient DPS-wise. (LR/LR and Melee/Melee combinations are more accurate but they lack damage per ton.) LR spec is still great, if you have enough damage to blow up a good chunk of the enemy fleet during the LR phase or need to snipe an evasive ship before it retreats. Outfiting your ships with the melee laser setup is not recommended.
