Consisting of Terran, Jungle, and Ocean Planets, these are the easiest to colonise and provide plenty of Food 16px-food. Opportunities for Industry 16px-industry, Dust 16px-dust, or Science 16px-science are generally fair, but can be very good, depending on the planet. These are the planets that people enjoy 1011approval inhabiting. Class I Planets can be terraformed from other Class I or Class II Planets to a by reseaching the appropriate tier 9 or 10 technology on the Exploration & Expansion Technology Tree. Class I Planets, however, are the most expensive to create through terraformation, costing 1280 16px-industry.

Terran

"A mix of land and water geology, this planet type is easy to expoit"

Terran Planets are a very good source of Dust 16px-dust. They tend to be Tiny (26.7%), Small (26.7%) or Medium (26.7%) in size, but can be Large (13.3%) or even Huge (6.7%). Terran Planets can be created from other Class I or Class II Planets through terraformation by researching the tier 9 Complex Regulated Systems technology on the Exploration & Expansion Technology Tree.


Jungle

"Dense with vegetation, this planet type can support a large population."

Jungle Planets are a very good source of Industry 16px-industry. They are most likely to be Tiny (28.6%) or Small (28.6%), but can also be Medium (21.4%) in size. They have a slightly greater chance than Terran Planets being Large (14.3%) or Huge (7.1%). Jungle Planets can be created from other Class I or Class II Planets through terraformation by researching the tier 10 Mass Hydration technology on the Exploration & Expansion Technology Tree.

Ocean

"Primarily or entirely covered by water, this planet type is rich in life and resources."

Ocean Planets are a very good source of Science 16px-science. They are most likely to be Tiny (28.6%) or Small (28.6%), but can also be Medium (21.4%) in size. They have a slightly greater chance than Terran Planets being Large (14.3%) or Huge (7.1%). Ocean Planets can be created from other Class I or Class II Planets through terraformation by researching the tier 10 Mass Hydration technology on the Exploration & Expansion Technology Tree.
